Service: Settled In (Move Management)
For this expansive 10,000 square foot home in the heart of Washington, D.C., our involvement began months before the family moved. We started with an in-depth review of their current home, carefully assessing every belonging to ensure nothing was overlooked. This early planning allowed us to develop a comprehensive space plan tailored to their new residence, identifying key opportunities for organizational brilliance.
The garage underwent a complete transformation, turning it into a functional and stylish space. We also created a dedicated gift wrapping closet, designed a fully equipped home gym, and meticulously selected key products that harmonized with the home’s interior design. In just six days, we brought this vision to life, ensuring every inch of the 10,000 square foot space was beautifully organized and ready for the family to settle into their new home with ease.
Her Primary Closet
This primary closet had great bones, but needed some really thoughtful planning to accommodate this beautiful wardrobe and accessory collection. The result is a vibrant, welcoming space that is easy to maintain.
Baby's Bathroom + Closet
This bathroom and closet are both kid and parent-friendly. The right baskets helped each space come to life.
Kitchen
This kitchen offered tons of storage which required detailed zone planning. This beautiful space now boasts a fully stocked and labeled ‘appliance garage’, hydration station, entertaining zone, and beverage bar.
Pantry
The walk-in pantry is the cherry on top. Dark wood elements paired with natural woven baskets create a show-stopping space that complements the rest of the kitchen.
Laundry Room + Linen Closet
Form and function are on full display in this laundry room. Located on the second floor of the home, the laundry room’s reach-in closet was the perfect place to create a linen, laundry, and pharmacy hub for the home. We especially love the bed sheet protectors that store vertically to keep the shelf tidy and inventoried.
The rattan-centric linen closet, located just outside the primary bathroom, provides the perfect space to store all linens for the primary suite and backstock product for the primary bathroom.
Garage + Mudroom
We started with a completely blank slate in this garage and customized every inch. We designed custom cabinetry to house outdoor shoes, accessories, grilling supplies, tools, and a golf bag. The show stopper is the floor to ceiling slat wall which allowed us to perfectly zone out this space to feel like a true extension of the home. We especially love the drop-zone by the door into the mudroom.
The Outdoor + Cleaning Closet
We designed this closet to ease the family’s transition in and out of the house each day. Their coats, shoes and outdoor essentials have a parking space, alongside a drop zone for mail, packages, and returns. We included a 360-degree spinner to house cleaning supplies in a space efficient way, so the closet could also serve as the cleaning hub for the main floor. Multi-tasking!
Gift Wrap Closet + Gym
We love these two specialty spaces! We transformed a small closet into a gift collection and wrapping room, complete with a mobile gift-wrapping cart. The open shelves present the perfect place to store gifts for your loved ones, collected throughout the year.
We utilized slat wall once again in the gym to store all gym accessories in a small vertical footprint. It’s fun to use — and look at!
Storage Rooms
The expansive storage room offered an opportunity to store seasonal and holiday decor as well as sentimental items in matching weather and air tight bins on sturdy stainless steel shelving. We chose the smaller utility room for household backstock and supplies.
